This is a large platter of the "Beatrice" pattern by John Maddock & Sons LTD. It is 17 inches long. It is 12 inches wide. Has no chips or cracks. T is flow blue dot on the platter, which also exists on the other side as well. This is a flow blue pattern of flowers with gold higlighting on each piece. History lesson about this company- John Maddock & Sons produced lines of Royal Vitreous in Burslem, Staffordshire, England since 1855. They are no longer in operation (was known to be in operation in the mid-1960's "Ltd", added to the title in 1896. They produced many fully named printed marks, including the trade named: Vitrified or Royal Vitreous (c.1880-1896).
